The Gambling Commission suspended BresBet Ltd's operating licence on 28 August 2026 under section 116 of the Gambling Act 2005, citing suspected social responsibility and anti-money laundering failings. The company surrendered the licence on 4 September 2026.
The suspension notice said it did not stop the company from letting customers reach their accounts and withdraw their money.
